Wholesome Listen: Pinegrove – “Intrepid”

Sometimes you need to listen to a song to give yourself some clarity and Pinegrove’s newest single, “Intrepid” is an example of that. The six-piece from New Jersey are notable for their ability to string indie-folk, rhythmic numbers that bring a refreshing atmosphere to the table. The song itself builds on with a bluesy feel.

Lead vocalist Evan Stephens Hall has a soothing voice and the instrumentation echoes throughout the song. With its beautiful guitars, post-rock elements and wonderful breezy feel, “Intrepid” is one of those songs that will one day be appreciated for being one of the classics.
