It’s become a point where we yearn for certain bands to reunite and The Dangerous Summer to do that was a long-time dream of mine. It’s funny how timing is everything and although they’ve faced their hardships, I admire them for bringing back this project to fruition; writing the chapters of their story and making the music they truly love and care about. The latest single from the band “Fire” is raw and emotional and brings that alternative rock sound with a nostalgic touch.
The three-piece from Ellicott City, Maryland dig deeper and have matured in a significant way, with their music aging beautifully like fine wine. The lyric, “I let emotion carry me back again- and every road has given me something” is what speaks to my soul – to never give up even if I feel emotionally weighted from the things I’ve grown to love. The Dangerous Summer are back for good and nobody’s going to stop them now.
