A viral video went circulating around Twitter a few days ago and it’s pretty much confirmed that Brand New will disband at the end of 2018.
The video was recorded at one of their shows this year and you can see vocalist Jesse Lacey interacting with his fans and saying, “We’re going to be a band for about 14 more months, so thank you so much for being here tonight.”
The four-piece surprised dropped their fifth and final album Science Fiction on August 17 this year and this was eight years after the release of their previous record Daisy.
There have been no talks about an Australian tour, but we hope Brand New will be making their way to the country for their final goodbyes.
