Bon Iver To Reissue Vinyl Copies of ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’

It’s insane to think that it’s been ten years since Bon Iver’s debut record For Emma, Forever Ago was released. Do you feel old yet? Good news for vinyl collectors, music enthusiasts and obsessed fans, Bon Iver made the announcement that they will be reissuing some vinyl copies of this gem of an album, containing notable songs such as “Flume”, “Skinny Love” and “Blindsided”.

The iconic folk album was self-recorded in a remote cabin in Wisconsin. The cabin itself was owned by Justin Vernon’s father, who would stay there on the days he would go hunting. For Emma, Forever Ago has received widespread acclaim and multiple awards since its release in July, 2007.

The vinyl release will feature new artwork and an essay written by collaborator Trever Hagen. You can pre-order the album via the band’s website HERE.
